What in the world is Gellyball?
Gellyball is the revolutionary, lower-impact, shooting game for all ages! Our commercial-grade, battery-powered blasters launch hydrated gel orbs at targets or other players in a variety of game scenarios.
Gellyball ammo is 90% water, biodegradable, and non-toxic containing no paint or stain. With zero cleanup required outdoors and very little indoors, it is the perfect experience for nearly any event, location, and age.
Is set-up time and break down included in the rental?
Yes, we will set-up prior to your event and we will break down after your event. You will be playing Gellyball during your reserved time with short breaks in between games to reload and grab a drink.
If you are playing at our field, located at Splash Mountain Hawaii, the field will be set-up and ready upon your arrival.
How many people can you accommodate?
You can have up to 30 people on the field at the same time. If your group is over 30 people, you can swap players between games.
How much does it cost to play?
The cost to play is based both on the total number of players and the total time of the event. We do have pricing options here. We also offer custom packages based on the number of players and the total time of the event.
Does Gellyball hurt?
Everyone has a different threshold for pain or what the would consider to hurt. Some say yes, there’s a little sting. While others don’t bat an eye!
At close range (20′ or less), it is about the equivalent of being hit with a rubber band on bare skin. After 70ft, it’s comparable to heavy rain drops falling.
Is Gellyball safe?
Gellyball ammo is 90% water. We hydrate polymer beads which are non-toxic to animals, plants, and humans. Similar material is used in hydro-mulch and other landscaping products along with a number of everyday consumer items.
Gellyball players and spectators wear eye / full-face protection. The game is far lower-impact than something like paintball. Gellyballs shatter on impact and are only 8mm in size.
Who can play Gellyball?
Gellyball is a blast for ages 5 to 100! It is great for almost any age and all extraterrestrials! Yes, even aliens love Gellyball!
Young and older players alike love the fast-paced, low-impact experience of play.
Can we bring our own guns or Gellyballs to your field or our party?
No, you cannot. We maintain our equipment to keep it at peek performance and use top of the line Gellyballs. These are all requirements of our insurance provider.
What is your coverage area?
We serve the entire island of Hawaii. Please note, there may be a charge for travel outside a 40 mile radius.
Do you offer a shaded area?
If you are playing Gellyball at Splash Mountain Hawaii, the rental includes a 750 square foot covered lanai with fans and a loaded 55″ smart TV.
Do you play indoors or outdoors?
Our field is outdoors. However, if you have a large enough indoor space, like a gymnasium, you can play Gellyball indoors. You simply sweep up the Gellyballs and the place is clean as before.
Do we have to pay for non-players?
No, guests who are not playing do not have to pay. However, we do need an accurate head count for insurance purposes if you will be playing at our field.
Are you insured?
Yes, we are insured for your peace of mind.
How much is due at the time of the reservation?
You can pay the full amount up front, pay a deposit, or you can make payments. Now that we offer direct bookings, we are able to take deposits and set-up payments.

Do you allow third party vendors?
If you are hosting your event at Splash Mountain Hawaii, yes, we do allow third party vendors. However, it is required that they add us as an additional insured on their insurance policy. If the event is at your location, you can invite anyone you would like.
Do you offer any type of fundraising events?
Yes, we do. Please reach out to us to discuss your event. We offer fundraising events both at your location or our location at Splash Mountain Hawaii.
Is a bathroom accessible?
Yes, a bathroom is provided for your convenience when you are playing at our field.
